About the Mac compatible Titan Poker client.

Poker compatibility is one of the biggest problems online poker players face nowadays. Despite Microsoft Windows being the main Operating System used worldwide, other operating systems have become increasingly popular in the last few years - most notably Macintosh (Mac).

Up until recently Titan Poker did not actually have any software to support Mac users, however now they have a Flash version of their software which lets you play instantly from their website.

From the Mac Titan Poker Flash Client you can create your own account and log in, however you will only be able to play Texas Hold'em games (Titan Poker will be releasing more game variety for their Flash Client in the near future). This will be a drawback to some players who enjoy vast game variety; however the Titan Poker Texas Hold'em games are notorious for how easy they are.

What happened before the Mac friendly Titan Poker software?

Players with Mac's were playing on Titan Poker long before they released a Mac-compatible version however.

Mac users used programs called 'PC Emulators' which allow Mac operating systems to run Windows software. iEmulator is one of the most popular emulators used among online poker players and recently Apple released software called Boot Camp which allows Mac computers to run both the Mac and Windows operating system - perfect for downloading online poker sites which currently have no Mac-compatible software.
